Meet the Committee
Cerys - Safeguarding/ Training & Kit Secretary
I have been playing Netball for many years and a member of Pewsey Netball Club for 6 years. In previous seasons I have played for both the Red and Black team but this season I am being forced to take some time off court to recover from a torn ACL. This is my second time on the committee. |
Sinem- Treasurer
I’ve been a proud member of the club since 2016 and am delighted to be serving as Treasurer this year. This year, I’m keen on implementing changes that will make things easier for members, including automated billing and greater transparency in financial reporting. Having previously been part of the committee as Social Secretary, it’s great to continue supporting the club in a different role. I’m passionate about playing and have done so from primary age and even continued to play while living in Cyprus. I’m committed to helping the club grow, while encouraging players to develop, progress, and enjoy this amazing sport. |
Ella - Chair
I have been involved in netball since a young age. I have always enjoyed playing, umpiring and being involved in the running of the clubs I have been a part of. I gained my umpiring B award in 2023 and since then I have been umpiring and mentoring others. I’m looking forward to the season ahead with 2 competitive teams. I’ve been a member of Pewsey for a few seasons now and have thoroughly enjoyed being involved in the netball and socials. I feel now is the right time to give back to the club. |
Jas- Advertisement & Recruitment Secretary
I joined Pewsey in 2025 after just moving to the area and wanting to find a fun way to exercise and meet new people and have quickly rediscovered my love for the game after playing a lot when I was younger. Now I’m stepping into the joint role of advertisement and recruitment secretary to help more people discover what a great club this is!
Emily- Secretary
I joined the club around 10 years ago while on my placement year from University. After graduating I was keen to come back! Since joining I have played on both teams and this is my second time on the committee.
Sarah- Advertisement & Recruitment Secretary
I have played netball for quite a few years now and have played for several clubs. However, I have now been a member of Pewsey Netball Club for 12 years and have found my tribe! I enjoy playing, umpiring and participating in social activities off court. I'm looking forward to the new season and my new role in advertising and recruitment, where I hope to support the rest of the committee in the running of our club for our members and welcome newcomers to the club. |
Monica-Umpire Secretary
I've played netball since school (a very long time ago) and played for various clubs across the UK and I joined Pewsey Netball Club in 2013 when we moved here from London. I stopped playing after COVID - I still get the urge to go back on court but I don't think my knees would agree though I still do a bit of umpiring every now and then at training. I've had a couple of committee roles over the years and as I'm a qualified C Award umpire I've acted as Umpire Secretary for the last couple of years. |
